Climatic chamber
SNDC’s climatic chambers enable the measurement and validation of the performance of air-conditioning and heating systems.
They are used by the company as part of the development process of specific designs for customers.
The climatic chambers can also be made available to manufacturers, or other companies, willing to conduct tests under extreme conditions. Please do not hesitate to contact us for information concerning the use of these facilities.
AC test room
The SNDC AC test room can accommodate agricultural machinery, heavy-construction machinery and large vehicles for performance testing in accordance with applicable standards and the customer's specifications.
The test room can replicate outside temperatures of over 55° as well as sunshine conditions for any geographical area on Earth. The hygrometry inside the cabin can also be monitored during the test sequence.
Heating and Defrosting test room
The efficiency of the heating system and the speed and quality of the window’s defrosting can be checked in another test room that replicates negative temperatures up to -35°C.
The tests are carried out on the cab fitted with the heating system and coupled to a thermal generator which supplies coolant fluid from the vehicle’s engine and reproduces its temperature rise curve.
